Texas Well Owner Network Training

January 24th, 8:30 a.m. – 3:30 p.m
Participants may bring well-water samples to the training for screening. The cost is $10 per sample, due when samples are turned in. Water samples will be screened for nitrates, total dissolved solids and bacteria. Sample containers and instructions are available at the county extension offices in Refugio, Victoria, Jackson, and Calhoun County. The Groundwater Conservation District (GCD) Offices also have materials, as does the Style Beauty Shop in Tivoli and the Texas Parks and Wildlife Field Station in Palacios.

Water system operators that need CEU’s can also attend and receive 6 hours. The CEU’s and lunch are both FREE. Yes, free, thanks to a generous donation by the San Antonio Bay Foundation and the local GCD’s, lunch is on us! To enable be to give the caterer a head count, everyone should pre-register.
