Grain Sorghum Hybrid Trial Results

The results of the 2022 Calhoun and Victoria counties grain sorghum hybrid trials are as follows: Calhoun County Grain Sorghum Hybrid Trial Victoria County Grain Sorghum Hybrid Trial Soil Testing needs to be done prior to fertilizing for next year’s crop. Calhoun County Corn Hybrid Trials

The Corn Hybrid Trial in Calhoun County was harvested near Port Lavaca, TX on August 19, 2020. These results should be used along with other similar tests from South Texas to help determine the what to plant next year.   A second corn hybrid trial was conducted at another location in Port Lavaca. Sorghum Hybrid Trial Results from Refugio County

The Sorghum Hybrid Trial in Refugio County was harvested in Austwell, TX on July 2, 2020. These results should be used along with other similar tests from South Texas to help determine the what to plant next year.
