4-H members raise an animal project for many reasons. It provides them an opportunity to develop individually through involvement in an activity that interests them. These kids “love” this! And those who love the stock show life say the events teach valuable lessons, ranging from responsibility and character-building to time management, budgeting, patience and giving.
