Good morning 4-H Families!

Registration information for the 2019 Texas 4-H Day at the Capitol is attached.  I understand that for the past several 4-H Day at the Capitol registration periods, the quota filled very quickly.  Registration will be on 4HConnect and will open at 5:00 pm on Wednesday, January 9, 2019.

The Texas 4-H Youth Development Program will once again host 4-H Day at the Capitol on Thursday, March 14, 2019. This event is designed as a citizenship experience for 4-H members of all ages to learn more about the state legislative process, as well as meet their state representative and/or senator through an office visit.

Because this event is held during the legislative session and other organizations/groups are at the capitol on the same day, the number of participants (youth and adults) must be limited. Registration will open on 4-H CONNECT on January 9, 2019 at 5:00 pm and will remain open until January 25, 2019 or until the event is filled. (In recent years, the event was full within the first 24 hours of being opened). 4-H Day at the Capitol is open to the first 250 youth and 50 adults registering for the event.
