The purpose of the County Council is to provide a forum for each club to have a voice in planning and executing of county 4-H events and programs. The County Council meetings are open to all 4-H members and are a great way to meet other 4-H’ers, share ideas, and advertise club events.
What is 4-H Youth County Council?
The Wharton County 4-H Council is an organization comprised of elected Council officers and club representatives. The organization stresses youth leadership training and development, and meets to conduct business, educational meetings, plan community service projects, and enjoy the company of fellow 4-H’ers. Youth County Council also has a district and state counterpart.
