Wharton County 4-H Updates
County Council members are invited to come help the officers pass out candy at the Trunk-R-Treat event, October 31st at the El Campo Civic Center. We will have a booth set-up from 6-8. The Theme is “ALOHA HALLOWEEN”, be sure to wear your Hawaiian themed attire! The deadline to register for D11 Crossroads is TOMORROW!! 2018 District 11 Crossroads will be held Thursday, November 8 through Saturday, November 10, 2018 at the Holiday Inn Express in Huntsville, Texas. Crossroads is a career development and youth leadership program for 8th-12th grade youth that introduces them to various career and higher education opportunities. Junior Leadership Retreat
Registration for Junior Leadership Retreat is open until October 29th, 2018 at https://texas4hcenter.tamu.edu/. 4-H youth currently in 3rd through 8th grade can register to attend. The Texas 4-H Council will lead educational sessions in: Use Your Imagination, Community Service, Chemistry, Leadership Initiatives, and Trashion Fashion. The Junior Leadership Retreat is held November 9-11, 2018 at the Texas 4-H Center in Lake Brownwood, TX.
