Houston Poultry Staging Log
Attention Houston Livestock Show Poultry Exhibitors: We have updated the time that the 610 Poultry Staging Log will be open on March 7 (Market Broilers) and March 8 (Market Turkey). The lot will not be opening until 3 a.m. on both days. All exhibitors will stage at the 610 Lot entering Gate 20, located off of West Bellfort Street between Kirby and Fannin. The Public Speaking Contest for County Roundup will be held the same day as Roundup on March 6, 2018. We are currently working on the time schedule and will send notice once it is complete.
4-H Raffle Fundraiser
Good Afternoon, Many of you have voiced concern about needing more time to sell raffle tickets. This fundraiser helps out a large amount of our programming and operating funds for Wharton County 4-H. Everyone in the county benefits form the money that is raised. Because of the recovery effort from Hurricane Harvey, many of you have had a hard time selling the tickets. D11 Crossroads Registration Closes FRIDAY
Crossroads registration ends Friday, October 13 on 4-H Connect! If you are in 8th-12th grade and would like to attend register before Friday. This is a great opportunity and this year it will be a lot of fun! I just had a parent email me to confirm the dates for Aggie Fest. She said she saw it online for the 14th. The D11 calendar is what I went off of and it says the 21st. I jumped on Judging Card and it is definitely October 14th. Registration closes on October 10th. Please remember that you must have a team. Email me if you would like to go.
