Good Afternoon,

Many of you have voiced concern about needing more time to sell raffle tickets. This fundraiser helps out a large amount of our programming and operating funds for Wharton County 4-H. Everyone in the county benefits form the money that is raised. Because of the recovery effort from Hurricane Harvey, many of you have had a hard time selling the tickets. I am extending the drawing to Sunday November 12 during our county Food Show/Food Challenge. The deadline to turn in books will be Thursday, November 9. The 4-H office is closed on Friday, November 10 in observance of Veteran’s Day.

Please make every effort to sell at least one book of tickets or more. If anyone needs more books I have extras at the 4-H office. You can come by anytime and pick them up.
