Good Afternoon Wharton 4-H!

I am so glad to see everyone rebuilding from the recent hurricane.

The new 4-H year has begun and some clubs have already met. Because of the flooding to my home and in Wharton I wasn’t able to get the raffle tickets until today. Managers, please come by my office to pick up your books or reply to this email letting me know you need for me to deliver them to you. I only ordered 250 books and if all tickets are sold, we will be looking at a gross profit of $25,000 to $30,000. The tickets are $20/ticket or $100 for a book of 6. There are only 6 tickets in a book. I know times are hard right now but we have until Oct. 30 to sell them. If everyone could sell one book this fundraiser will be a success. If your club has already met, I can help distribute tickets to 4-Hers. Please just let me know.

I have distributed the books fairly according to club enrollments last year, per club. The clubs that sell 100% or most to 100% of their books will get an ice cream party at their November club meeting.
