Good Afternoon Spring Spectacular Participants,
Over the past week I know that several of you have reached out questioning the fate of Spring Spectacular. I have finally received some clarification in all of the uncertainty. With the moratorium that UIL has set in place until May 4th there is to be no contest in any way, there are a few exceptions that I will cover below. The Spring Spectacular planning group is looking into coming up with some alternate form of a showcase event to be held over the summer, details will be forthcoming as we continue to work through this adversity
IF State Roundup is able to happen the event will be an invitational contest for all Senior Level 4-Hers with the exception of the following contest: Food Show, Food Challenge, and Share-the-Fun.
As you know we have already had our District Food Show and Food Challenge Contest so those that advanced to state will continue to do so. For Share-the-Fun there will be some sort of District contest for Senior Level 4-H members, more information about this will come at a later date.
The District Photography contest has taken place and results should be sent out soon.
The District Fashion Storyboard contest will still happen, more information will come as we receive it.
If you already registered for SS we will delete your registration.
I know that this is certainly not an ideal situation but we appreciate your patience and understanding during this time.
Please let me know if you have any questions
