Major Show Steer and Heifer Validations will be held on Thursday, June 25, 2015 for 4:00pm-6:00pm at the WCYF Fairgrounds.

Steer validation is for ALL majors. That includes State Fair, Waco, Fort Worth, San Antonio, San Angelo, Houston and Austin. This is the one and only steer validation for the 2015-2016 show year.

Your steer will be tagged and tattooed, DNA hair sample will be pulled and a nose print will be taken.

Please make all efforts to attend this validation.

Heifer Validation on June 25, 2015 is only for heifers that will be shown at the State Fair and in Waco. if you plan to show at these shows you MUST validate your heifer. If you DO NOT plan to show at these shows but DO plan to show a heifer at the shows starting in January 2016, there will be another heifer validation in October 2015.

If you already have your heifer and you would like to validate her, a COLOR copy of your ORIGINAL registration papers needs to be sent to Rachel Berry, rachel.berry@ag.tamu.edu . Or you may come by the county extension office with the papers and a scan can be made for you.

The registration papers MUST be in a scan .pdf format.

Registration papers are due to Rachel Berry by June 25, 2015.

A scanner will be provided at the validation site on June 25, 2015.
