UBEAM at The Opportunity Center

Urban Bio-Tech Environmental Agriculture Model

With Project Remix Ventures
Hosted at the Opportunity Center

About the Program
UBEAM empowers justice-involved youth to explore food and environmental security, ensuring urban communities have access to safe food and sustainable resources. Through community events, participants build leadership and communication skills, discover careers in agriculture, food science, and culinary arts, and promote healthy lifestyles and family well-being.

Community Outreach
Through the UBEAM grant, we host volunteer events at the Opportunity Center that bring the community together to improve the space — like gardening, greenhouse clean-up, and educational sessions. Local businesses are invited to speak with students and support these efforts through donations, helping us create meaningful experiences and a stronger learning environment.
