State Photography Contest Entries Begin

Texas 4-H Photography Contest
State Seniors (youth 14 to 18 years of age)  MUST enter the County Contest to qualify for Texas 4-H Photo Contest.  The results of the Harris County Photography Contest will identify the Senior photographs that will be eligible to advance to the state contest.  Texas 4-H Photography Contest entries should be submitted on 4-H Connect from  April 1-15, 2016. View more information on the State photography contest here.

Texas 4-H Family Archery Camp

The 2016 Camp has evolved into a ‘family style’ camp meaning Mom and Dad (or other family adults) will attend along with their kids and learn the same knowledge and skills.

It is a weekend camp open to any 4-H member and adult family member currently in a bonafide 4-H Shooting Sports Archery Project who wants to improve their archery skills and knowledge of equipment, competitions and more.

You MUST be enrolled in 4-H Connect as a member (youth) or volunteer (adults) to attend.

Date: January 22-24, 2016
Place: Texas 4-H Conference Center
Cost: $140/participant, depending on your choice of lodging.
Registration: Nov. 9 – Dec. 31, 2015 at

Teen Retreat at the Texas 4-H Conference Center provides a fun, state-level leadership experience for 4-H youth ages 13-15. Leadership sessions include: STEM, Leadership, Share the Fun and Wildlife. Fun includes: dancing, games and a Polar Bear plunge!

Register here by December 31, 2015: $115/youth, $85/adults (lodging and meals).
