State Seniors (youth 14 to 18 years of age) MUST enter the County Contest to qualify for Texas 4-H Photo Contest. The results of the Harris County Photography Contest will identify the Senior photographs that will be eligible to advance to the state contest. District 9 Photography Contest
Photo contest judging will be completed by March 11th and photos with comments will be returned to participants by March 15th, in time to make selections for District Contest. Remember, District Contest is limited to 4 photographs per contestant. District 9 Photography Contest entries should be submitted on 4-H Connect by March 27- $5.00 per photo. DEADLINE: County Photography Contest Entries Due
The Theme this year is 4-H Ribbons, Awards and Recognition- everyone should have a few of those items to photograph!
Participants in the county contest can enter one photo per category (total 15). Do not enter more than one photo per category. Complete an entry form and return it to Sheryl Nolen at snolen@ag.tamu.edu by March 1st. The same email photo file system as used for District Contest will be used for County-just the email address for sending the entries will be different. Information on how to email your photo entries and entry forms will be posted by January 15th.

Harris County Robotics Contest
The Harris County Robotics Contest will be held the 1st Saturday of the Houston Live Stock Show- March 5th!
Details will be shared at the 4-H Robotics Adult Training. This will be an invitational contest to help teams prepare for the contest at Prairie View A& M and at Big Time In D-9.
Food Challenge & Food Show: Practice #2
Practice your culinary skills in time for the Food Challenge and Food Show contests – offered at 4-H District and State Roundups and even Major Shows such as San Antonio and Houston. There’s only one practice date left for the year!
