4-H Sewing Service Project

Thanks to the generous donation  made by the Harris County Master Gardeners, we have a wide assortment of fabrics for participants to use for their projects! We have planned a variety of service projects to put these donations to good use, including: Dresses for Girls Around the World, Cheer Up Pillow Cases for Texas Children’s Hospital, book bags for school kids, and more. Remember, there is no fee if you are a member of 4-H! Non- 4-H members can attend for a fee of $25.00 per event.

DEADLINE: County Photography Contest Entries Due

DEADLINE: District Photography Contest Entries Due

District 9 Photography Contest Photo contest judging will be completed by March 11th and photos with comments will be returned to participants by March 15th, in time  to make selections for District Contest.  Remember, District Contest is limited to 4 photographs per contestant. District 9 Photography Contest entries should be submitted on 4-H Connect by March 27- $5.00 per photo.  View more information on the District 9 photography contest here.

State Photography Contest Entries Begin

Texas 4-H Photography Contest State Seniors (youth 14 to 18 years of age)  MUST enter the County Contest to qualify for Texas 4-H Photo Contest.  The results of the Harris County Photography Contest will identify the Senior photographs that will be eligible to advance to the state contest.  Texas 4-H Photography Contest entries should be submitted on 4-H Connect from  April 1-15, 2016. View more information on the State photography contest here.
