Head. Heart. Hands. Health.
Participants will learn about JMG, WAT and LGEG curricula/success stories and the variety of ways school garden programs can be supported through local extension office’s personnel and Master Gardener and Master Wellness volunteers, district food service directors and staff, SHACs, parent groups, ESL participants and community groups such as churches, Junior Leagues and other organizations. This training will empower participants to think of school garden programs in new ways (community gardens) and as effective teaching tools to improve children and families engagement and health.
