VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITY!
If you are not competing in County Round-Up #1, consider signing up to volunteer for a little while at a JOANN Fabrics and Crafts for an hour or two!!
JOANN Fabrics and Crafts are sponsoring a paper clover campaign! To kick off this new partnership, the State 4-H Office and JOANNs are having a volunteer event. On February 3rd, from 11:00 am to 2:00 pm, 4-H clubs/groups are asked to participate in an in-store community service activity of making Valentine’s day cards that will be delivered to nursing homes, hospitals, children’s homes, etc. We would like to have a 4-H presence in each store on February 3rd. If a store is located in a county adjacent to Harris Co. and is closer to you, please let the office know that you will be going there to volunteer your time.
