Junior Master Gardener

JMGLogo

The Junior Master Gardener Program (JMG) is an international youth gardening program operated nationwide through the Cooperative Extension network.

JMG is “Growing Good Kids” by igniting a passion for learning, success and service through a unique gardening education.

Be a part of JMG – growing healthy minds and bodies for kids!

JMG Teacher/Leader Training events are offered throughout the year on request and can be hosted at a school or community center by scheduling with the Harris County 4-H JMG Specialist.

Please note: All JMG workshop participants receive CEU credits for professional development. The curriculum is also TEKS aligned, STEM-based and STAR ready.

For more info and to schedule training, contact Harris County’s 4-H JMG Specialist Sheryl Nolen at 713.274.0978 or snolen@ag.tamu.edu. Also, be sure to learn more about the most recent JMG initiative, Learn, Grow, Eat, GO! and visit the JMG website.
