Join us for the Montgomery County 4-H “To Make The Best Betta Fish Show & Tell” on Saturday, May 6, 2023, starting at 1 pm.

How to prepare for the interview/presentation, each interview/presentation will be 5 to 10 minutes

• Presentations will include:
  • Tell us about your fish
    • Name of your fish
    • Talk about your fish tank setup
    • What have you Learned
• Interview will Include
  • A few questions selected by the judges

Displaying Fish at the Show

We will provide small viewing plastic tank: 5 1/2″ x 3 1/2″ x 4 1/2″. If you would like to pick up a clear plastic cup to transport your Betta fish, they will be available at the extension office starting April 24, 2023. They will be the same type of cup as you picked up your fish in.

Project books

Completed books will need to be turned in to the Extension office by Wednesday, April 26, 2023. 

Awards

• Clover Kids per Texas 4-H Rules and Guidelines can only complete as participants. They will receive a Certificate of Completion, but more importantly, they will gain skills in interviewing and public speaking to adults.
• 4-H Members: Will be placed, awards to TBD.

Educational Demo

The Extension Ofice will provide a short educational topic related to fish keeping – Topic TBD
