Montgomery County 4-HThere are approximately 18 clubs in Montgomery County.
- Community Clubs are located throughout the county and they offer a variety of projects based on the interests of their 4-H’ers.
- Project Clubs are clubs focused on a specific project that is popular in the county and meet in a centralized location for kids throughout the county to participate in.
Depending on which projects your 4-H’er would like to complete it is possible to join more than one club.
For example, if your future 4-H’er is interested in the Robotics project and the Dog Care & Training project then you could join a community club for Robotics and the project club for Dog Care.
Each club has its own ‘personality’ so we suggest that you visit or chat with a few of them before you decide which club you would like to join.
The Montgomery County 4-H Handbook states that you can only change 4-H clubs once a year between June 1 and October 1 so when you join a club, be sure that it is the one you want to stick with until the next 4-H year.
Once you decide which club(s) you would like to join, it is time to enroll.
