High Plain Ag Week 8/8/2022 – USDA Programs to Support Drought Losses

This year’s drought is still producing significant losses to many ranchers in the State of Texas. Today, we will look into two more USDA programs to help ranchers cape the drought, Livestock Forage Disaster Program and the Emergency Assistance for Livestock, Honeybees, and Farm-Raised Fish Program.

High Plains Ag Week 11/22/2021 – Livestock Forage Disaster Program and Other Disaster Programs

As we move into the holiday season, it’s important to not forget a few pending deadlines. The Livestock Forage Disaster Program application will be due at the end of January. Additionally, updates to ELAP may provide payments if producers were required to transport feed.

High Plains Ag Week 4/5/2021 – Sheep & Goat Update
