Dear 4-H Members and Families,
Renee and Karen Raschio will once again be leading a Dog Training and Showing project. Their first meeting for spring will be this Thursday, February 14th. Please see the information from the Raschios below.
Do you happen to have a dog around the house, who needs a little obedience training?
Is your yard too small to fit a goat or horse, but want to show an animal?
Come join us at The Tarrant County Dog Project .
Topics to be covered:
- Learn how to get registered for the 2019 Texas 4-H State Dog Show.
- Other Texas 4-H dog shows for this upcoming year.
- Plan activities for the upcoming year in Tarrant County.
- What is the difference between Obedience, Rally, Showmanship, and Confirmation.
Join us. We will meet from 5:15-6 p.m. at Meadowbrook United Methodist Church in Fort Worth. Our first class meeting for the new year will be Thursday, February 14th. No cost for the class. Please RSVP to Renee Raschio at EVPoodle@gmail.com. We plan to continue working on obedience but also start working on showmanship, confirmation, and rally starting after the New Year. We will also explore the possibility of creating a dog drill team to compete at the 4-H State Show in July.
Thank you Renee for leading this project for the county.
