Below is information regarding a Riparian Workshop in Castroville May 22nd. It is free (unless you want lunch, which is $15) and goes from 8:00am-4:30pm. Location is 1410 Amelia St, Castroville, TX 78009.
The riparian education programs will cover an introduction to riparian principles, watershed processes, basic hydrology, erosion/deposition principles and riparian vegetation, as well as potential causes of degradation and possible resulting impairment(s) and available local resources including technical assistance and tools that can be employed to prevent and/or resolve degradation.
