Host Families needed

Sent Dear 4-H Families and Members, Please read the information received from Darlene Locke from the State office. Good afternoon, I am sending this to seek your help in promoting the LABO LEX Japanese Exchange Program to families in your community. Texas 4-H will host 20 youth and 2 Adult chaperones (both female) this summer, July 22 – August 17. If you know of families that would be open to sharing their home with a student or chaperone, please pass this on. 4-H membership is not a requirement.

Texas 4-H First Tee Golf Challenge

Did not send This information is on behalf of Lindsey Forster, We are happy to be hosting the Texas 4-H First Tee Golf Challenge 3 person scramble Golf Tournament again in Kerrville on July 16th. Attached is the flyer and registration form. Registration deadline is July 9th. Only 1 team member is required to be enrolled in 4-H. If you have individuals that would like to compete, they can be placed on a team at the event.

UlTra Leadership Lab 2018

Sent This information is on behalf of Derrick Bruton-District, Information for this year’s UlTra Leadership Lab camp has been posted online here:  https://d44-h.tamu.edu/event/ultra-leadership-lab/  It will be held June 5-7 at Cross Point Camp in Kingston, Oklahoma (on Lake Texoma).  I would love to see at least 2 members from each county attend, so please push this to all of your teen members.  The deadline to register is May 25, which is much earlier than years past, so please make sure to publicize that fact. 2018 Youth Agriculture Lifetime Leadership Tour

The tour has been a tremendous success the past three years with 70+ youth participating. Entries must be approved by county office by April 17, 2018 and all payments need to be received by April 28, 2018. 2018 National 4-H Congress

National 4-H Congress is the flagship event of the National 4-H program held annually at the Hyatt Regency Hotel in Atlanta, Georgia. Check-in and equipment safety check begins at 8 a.m. Shooting begins at 9 a.m. $30 registration fee for Youth per bow $35 registration fee for Adults per bow Park entry fee is included in the registration fee. Park entry fee for guests is $2 and can be purchased when registering.

4-H Shotgun Day Camp
