If you are looking for a volunteer opportunity here is a good one! The Fort Worth Syndicate is hosting their Smokedown fundraiser, and they are needing volunteers. They have been a big supported of 4H and FFA for years, purchasing projects at the FWSS and TCJLS. If you can please be sure to go help.
Below is the signup for day of event meant for adult sign-up due to the alcohol component of the event. In the signup there is a description of each opportunity, most shifts are the duration of 3 hours.

I have also created a sign-up for Sunday am. This will mainly be collecting things and cleaning up after the event. We do have a garbologist group that will be picking up trash, etc…. what we need help with is tearing down banners, collecting and organizing rental items to be picked up, collecting and organizing FWSSS items to be removed, etc… Our goal is to return the parking lot back to the Stockyards by noon on Sunday so they can utilize the space as a parking lot again. We will start this effort at 8:30am and hope to be done before noon. Below is the link for this sign-up. Both students and adults can sign-up for this volunteer opportunity.
