Quality Counts Enrollment and Verification Information – Please Read and Distribute

Sent,

Good morning,

I hope this email finds you all well and gearing up for a new school and 4-H year! With that, we are preparing for a spike in Quality Counts enrollments and want to help you be prepared for a smooth season! To help, I have attached several newly updated resources to help students/families, you as agents and ag teachers, and to help provide to your schools for IT use. Please view the list of attachments below and distribute as you see fit to those in your county/school programs. Also, please direct all technical/login related questions to: learnonline@ag.tamu.edu.

  • Instructions to Access QC Numbers – Step-by-step guide to finding your county or school QC roster on www.texaslivestockvalidation.com
  • QC Enrollment Instructions – Step-by-step instructions for students/families to register and begin taking Quality Counts! This should be sent with any reminders or communication to take the course as it has the link to begin online.
  • Quality Counts Email SPAM Wording – This should be utilized by all FFA advisors/ASTs. Please send this to your school IT department to prevent the QC emails being caught by district IT firewalls.
  • QC FAQ – ASTs – Helpful guide for Agricultural Science Teachers related to QC.
  • QC FAQ – CEAs – Helpful guide for all County Extension Agents related to QC.
  • QC FAQ – Students/Parents – Please send this to all exhibitors/students/families who are taking Quality Counts.

As a reminder, Quality Counts is required for major livestock show entry and must be completed each grade level division (junior – grades 3-5, intermediate – grades 6-8, senior – grades 9-12). It does not have to be renewed every year.
