Dear 4-H Members and Families,

The Prudential Spirit of Community Awards is accepting applications and 4-H is a qualifying organization.  This state and national award program acknowledges youth for their community service and dovetails nicely with the community service that our members perform.  There is a deadline to complete your application so please read carefully.

Applicants must:

• Be in grades 5^th to 12^th as of November 6^th.
• Be a legal resident of any U.S. state or Washington, D.C.
• Have engaged in volunteer activity during the past 12 months prior to November 6^th.
• Submit a complete application by November 6^th at How to Apply.

State honorees will receive an award of $1000.  National honorees will receive an award of $5000 as well as a $5000 grant to be given to the charitable organization of their choice.
