TCU Department of Nutritional SciencesTexas Christian University supports Tarrant County 4-H through their Department of Nutritional Science. The faculty and students of the department organize and host our yearly Food Challenge contest. 4-H members learn to cook, eat healthy, and plan meals while working on teams to develop leadership and public speaking. The day of the contest, members work alongside TCU students in the departmental kitchen and present their creations to local celebrity chefs. This is a great opportunity for youth to take their love of food and cooking to new levels and meet professionals making the best better by making good healthy food. |
