Dear 4-H Members and Families,
Please see the attached chicken broiler order form if you are interested in showing broiler chickens at the 2019 Tarrant County Junior Livestock Show. Minimum orders are 10 birds from which you will choose a pen or pens of 3 birds to show. Birds are $2 each and orders must be received by TCJLS Poultry Superintendent, Dallas Renfro, by November 9th.
Before ordering, you are encouraged to review the TCJLS rules for the 2018 show, both poultry and general rules.
Please be aware that broiler chickens will be shown Thursday, February 28th at 8:30 a.m. They will be brought to the show that morning and only the top pens will remain at the show barn for the remainder of the show. All other pens will need to be removed from the show barn immediately after the broiler chicken show.
