Fort Worth Camera

Fort Worth Camera supports the Photography projects for Tarrant County 4-H.  Their educational staff and industry ambassadors work with 4-H youth by serving as judges of the county photography contest, providing feedback on entries,  and mounting an exhibit of members work at the Montgomery Street location.  Educational staff also provide a county wide photography learning project for new and experienced 4-H photographers.  As a local business, Fort Worth Camera is always a great resource for 4-H clubs and members interested in photography.

  Lockheed Martin

Lockheed Martin brings a companywide spirit of volunteerism to 4-H as our community partner.  Their amazing employees host, coach, and lead a diverse range of activities.  At our annual 4-H National Youth Science Day, members take a tour of the Fort Worth facility and engage in hands on learning.  With the Hands-on-Engineering project, members learn to think like an engineer as they solve problems and work as a team.  And our Lockheed Martin 4-H Robotics team competes in both LEGO and FIRST Tech competitions.

 Plus Two Toastmasters

Plus Two Toastmasters has been one of Tarrant County 4-H’s longest serving partners.  This is the oldest local chapter of Toastmasters International and through their volunteer to 4-H, Dr. Jeff Johnson, encourage a new generation to hone their confidence and leadership through public speaking.  For 25 years, Dr. Johnson has shared his humor and wisdom with the youth of 4-H.  Even the most reluctant youth finds their voice in this project and enjoys preparing and presenting speeches to their fellow 4-H members.

 TCU Department of Nutritional Sciences

Texas Christian University supports Tarrant County 4-H through their Department of Nutritional Science.  The faculty and students of the department organize and host our yearly Food Challenge contest.  4-H members learn to cook, eat healthy, and plan meals while working on teams to develop leadership and public speaking.  The day of the contest, members work alongside TCU students in the departmental kitchen and present their creations to local celebrity chefs.  This is a great opportunity for youth to take their love of food and cooking to new levels and meet professionals making the best better by making good healthy food.
