Tarrant County 4-H Internship for College Students

Dear 4-H Members and Families,

PVAMU 4-H Youth Development Program is excited to announce the registration for the third cohort of the Prepping for A Career in Extension (P.A.C.E.) Academy Volunteer Internship. The purpose of the P.A.C.E. Academy is to recruit and train college-age student volunteers to plan, implement, and develop a youth-centered activity or program in their respective counties. The program aims to increase the diversity within the 4-H volunteer pool by recruiting, training, and inspiring a diverse student population.

We are encouraging all interested students to apply. The program is a volunteering opportunity. However, a $500 stipend is available upon satisfactory completion of the program.

We are excited about the program’s potential to offer volunteers and Texas’ underserved/limited-resource youth and communities.
