Dear Tarrant County 4-H Families:
Your Delegates to the Tarrant County Junior Livestock Show & Youth Fair (TCJLS) have created a Google Form for your use in communicating with them on Issues and/or Rule Changes you would like to put before the Show’s Board of Directors (TCJLA) for 2024 Show consideration.
Our Delegates will use the information provided through the Google Form to address Issues and/or present Rule Changes to the TCJLA Board.
Please understand that while our Delegates will carefully review all submissions received through the Google Form there is no guarantee that any particular Issue and/or Rule Change will be pursued by the Delegates. Should that be the case, the original submitter will be notified and encouraged to present their submission directly to the TCJLA Board for consideration. Issues and/or Rule Changes, upon which our Delegates agree need to be addressed as a group, will be presented by our Delegates to the TCJLA Board for consideration. However, original authors/submitters will be asked to attend the TCJLA Board meeting and defend their submission.
As a reminder, our Delegates are volunteers and we want to be respectful of their time. These people are working hard to make TCJLS an amazing opportunity for the young people of Tarrant County 4-H. They spend countless hours making the Show happen. The purpose of this new process is to 1) increase the adoption probability of any particular Rule Change submission; 2) address other issues as necessary; and 3) be respectful of our Delegates’ time as volunteers.
All Issues and/or Rule Changes must be submitted at the Google Form. The submission deadline for Issues and/or Rule Changes is 11:59pm on March 31, 2023. Late submissions will not be presented to the Delegate group for consideration.
