Tarrant County 4-Hers:

As mentioned in last week’s CYC Meeting, for the October County Community Service effort, we will be writing letters to those elderly individuals that are confined to home or a facility.

Each youth member is encouraged to write a note or make a card or two (or more!).  For clubs that are meeting in person, those clubs are asked to collect notes/cards/letters from their membership and mail to the address given at the bottom of this email.  For those clubs that are not yet meeting in person, members are still encouraged to write notes/cards and mail directly to the address shown at the bottom of this email.  If you have a loved one (family or friend) to whom you would prefer to write, that’s fine!  Just be sure and report the number of letters/cards to the CYC as noted in the next paragraph.

At the end of the month, each club (or individual youth if mailed separately) should report to the County Youth Council how many letters were sent so we can keep track of the effort. These reports may be sent to the CYC at tarrantyouthcouncil@gmail.com.
