CYC Officers

Sent

Dear 4-H Members and Families,

The final regular County Youth Council meeting will be held Tuesday, May 29th.  In preparation for the coming year, I encourage all 4-H members to consider running for officer positions of the CYC.  These officers serve the Tarrant County 4-H program by guiding the officers at the club level, advising the adult volunteers and Extension agents, and organizing great county-wide events.  The CYC meets once a month from August to May on the fourth Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m.

If you have experience as a 4-H officer at the club level and feel that you have talents to share with the whole county, please complete this CYC Officer Nomination form.  Per the CYC Bylaws , only current CYC officers, county delegates, or 4-H members who have served as president or vice president of their club are eligible to run for office at the county level.  We have extended the deadline for  nominations until May 14th.

I urge every member who meets eligibility to consider serving.  I also request that every member, parent, and club manager consider who would make a good officer for the county.  Please share your thoughts with those members and urge them to run.  As we continue build the reach and opportunities that 4-H offers the youth of Tarrant County, we need a strong group of county officers who can provide the guidance and assistance to foster this growth.

Thank you for all that you do to strengthen 4-H in Tarrant County.
