Dear 4-H Members and Families,

Tarrant County 4-H has the opportunity to send a 4-H members to the YouthLab Leadership Camp.  Participants in the camp need only apply and be accepted.  There is no cost associated and transportation for the camp is provided by Extension staff.

Here are the details:

• The camp is held July 24^th to 27^th, 2018 and youth stay in dorms on campus.
• The camp is held at Prairie View A&M University just northwest of Houston.
• It is open to 4-H members currently in 8^th, 9^th, or 10^th grade.
• Participants engage in leadership activities and STEM activities.
• Transportation to and from camp is provided by Extension staff from Tarrant County who also serve as chaperones during the camp.
• There is no cost to youth who apply and are selected to attend.
• Tarrant County currently has several spots reserved for our youth.
• This camp is separate from the UlTra Leadership Lab camp that is held for District IV from June 5^th to 7^th.

If you are interested in participating, please contact Ana or me and we will send you an application.  Applications must be completed and turned in to the county office by Wednesday, May 2^nd.  If you have any questions, please let me know.
