Miles provides leadership for the recruitment, selection, supervision, and management of the County Extension Agents – agriculture, family and consumer sciences, 4-H, and horticulture in 24 Rolling Plains counties. Provides input and oversight for the development and management of the districts’ Extension budget. Works closely with 24 county commissioner courts to interpret Extension programs and to secure funding for the Extension program. Coordinates with the two regional program directors in agriculture/natural resources, family and consumer sciences to identify program direction, acquire program enhancement resources and set priorities for resource allocation to most effectively impact Extension programming for targeted clientele.
