Get into the holiday spirit with a fun, hands-on cooking workshop designed just for youth! Kids in the Kitchen: Holiday Edition gives young chefs the chance to build confidence in the kitchen, learn essential cooking and food safety skills, and prepare two delicious (and healthier!) holiday appetizers they can recreate at home.

This festive workshop offers a safe, engaging, and educational environment for kids to explore creativity through cooking.

Kids will:

  • Learn basic kitchen skills
  • Practice safe food handling and preparation techniques
  • Create two simple, tasty, and healthier holiday appetizers
  • Explore ingredient swaps and alternatives that boost nutrition
  • Enjoy a fun, festive cooking environment led by Extension staff

Whether your child is brand-new to cooking or already loves spending time in the kitchen, this workshop is a great way to build skills, make memories, and celebrate the season!
