At 4-H CAPITAL, we continuously strive to improve our program, which is made up of staff, AmeriCorps members, and community members. We value the differences of our instructors, partners, and the community we serve and believe that such broad partnerships make our program stronger and more impactful. This idea is reflected in how we use students’ interests as a starting point for building their connection to science and let youth voice and choice in the classroom sphere help shape our activities and projects. Likewise, our staff and instructors bring their unique experiences, knowledge, and interests to enrich and broaden our curriculum and help improve our best practices. We believe that everyone can reach their full potential, and we work to foster a sense of belonging through service, involvement, respect, and connections between all.
