Our Mission
4-H CAPITAL inspires youth to develop into inquiring scientists, citizens of character, partners in service, and engaged community members through participation in project-based learning experiences and collaborative community involvement.

What We Do
Since 1992, 4-H CAPITAL has been committed to increasing science learning, skill development, and leadership opportunities for under-served youth in the Austin area. We hold our afterschool and summer camp Science Clubs at schools in which most youth qualify for free or reduced lunches. We plan our STEM-based activities, field trips, and guest speakers to engage youth through fun experiences, positive environments, and relevance to their lives. 4-H CAPITAL’s Science Clubs are led by our science superheroes, the AmeriCorps volunteers who “get things done” for Austin youth.
