| One Day 4-H Community Service Opportunities – A collection of Non-Perishable Food Items and Can Goods in addition to denim for the Blue Jeans Go Green – Denim Recycling will be held through the end of October. Collection boxes will be located inside the Atrium of the Extension Office.

October 23^rd – Heifer Validation at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds Barn H at 4:00 PM

October 24^th – Lamb and Goat Validation at the Fort Bend County Fairgrounds Barn H at 4:00 PM

October 28^th – Outdoor Skills Day at The James B Harrison Foundation Harrison-Long Point Ranch from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

October 30^th – Major Show Shooting Sports Sign Up at the Fort Bend County Extension Office from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM

DISTRICT:

October 12^th – 16^th – LATE Registration for D-9 Junior Leadership Lab in Caldwell, TX (Crossroads Retreat Center) from November 10^th – 11^th – Price Increase for Late Registration

STATE:

October 25th – Registration Deadline for D9 Shooting Sports Coaches Training in Conroe, TX (November 11th – 12th) via 4-H Online

October 26^th – Registration Deadline for 4-H Day at COALS (November 17^th) in College Station from 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM

October 26^th – Registration Deadline for 4-H Day in Aggieland (November 18^th) in College Station, TX (For tickets to the football game, click here)

Offices will be CLOSED for the following holidays/Inservice during the 2023 year:

November 10, 2023 – Veterans Day (Observed)

November 23, 2023 – Thanksgiving Day

November 24, 2023 – Day after Thanksgiving
