Firemen, Policemen, Paramedics, and Emergency Medical Technicians (EMT) are there to help during the most trying times in anyone’s life. It is difficult physically, mentally, and especially emotionally. It is for these reasons we want to show support for these people by providing needed care packages for first responders throughout the state of Texas.
The 2016 – 2017 Texas 4-H Council has selected “Support Your First Responders,” as their statewide service project. All 4-H Members are encouraged to look for local opportunities to support their local first responders.
How can you donate? From November 2016 through Texas 4-H Roundup in June 2017, Texas 4-H Council challenges all 4-H members and families to the First Responders Fund. County 4-H Programs can collect donations, have a bake sale or other event. 4-H members can college package items from schools.
