Hunger is an epidemic affects at least 1 in 6 people from all walks of life. It has a severe impact on people you’d never expect to be suffering, from children who rely on their schools for meals to your close friend at work. TangoTab is an organization that teams with local restaurants providing meals for the hungry. To date, TangoTab has fed over 1 million people.
In February 2014, Dallas startup TangoTab, celebrated their 2nd Anniversary by Breaking a Guinness World Record for “The Most People Making Sandwiches Simultaneously.” 1,363 people came together to shatter, the then existing record (684), and set the new record at 1,363 people. As a result, 136,000 sandwiches were made and donated to feed people in need throughout the Dallas area. On August 1, 2015 fast-food giant, Subway, broke TangoTab’s record with 1,481 participants.
So, TangoTab set a mission to break the record once again. On Saturday, February 27, 2016, TangoTab and friends came together at the Dallas Convention Center. TangoTab and friends have officially taken back the title for the Guinness World Record for the Most People Making Sandwiches Simultaneously with 2,586!!! Over 32,000 sandwiches made and enough food for a total of 210,000 donated. Among these friends were the Fannin County 4H youth and adult volunteers.

The following attended: Randy Arris, Sr., LaTonia Arris, Randy Arris, Jr., Caleb Arris, Carson Arris, Jeanne Collier, Gavin Collier, Seven Collier, Melissa Dougan, Brisa Dougan, Brendan McMurray and Aidan Straub.
