As you stroll the paths of garden look for some creative touches used in the display. The path material changes every 20 feet, so on the walkway you will see a variety of samples, brick, screening (fine rocks), sand mixture and even cement with leaf imprints. Also look for different types of mulch in the beds, we’ve got everything from recycled Christmas trees to pecan shells. Walkways and signs help guide the visitors through the display, and descriptions accompany each plant indicating common name and genus and species. The display is open to the public. Come by and visit, perhaps you can incorporate some of the innovative landscaping, material use and plant selection for your own garden.
