Dallas County 4-H is hosting a workshop to prepare our students for the Healthy Lifestyles Invitational at State 4-H Roundup! This is an awesome opportunity for students to compete at the state level and experience Roundup! This workshop will be held on October 9th at 7:00 pm and will be free. Registration information can be found here: agrilife.org/dallas4h/healthylifestyles. Registration opens at noon on September 25th and closes at noon on October 5th.

This contest is for intermediate (age 9-13) and senior age (14-18) students. The invitational is held at 4-H Roundup; teams do not have to qualify to enter. First, you are given a story (in each of 8 classes) related to a healthy lifestyles topic and four possible outcomes or choices. You must rank the four choices and are scored on your answer. Then, in the presentation portion, teams must work together to analyze a problem, develop a solution and make a presentation to the judges.
