Veterinary Science

Veterinary Science
This is an intensive, five-year curriculum designed for students in Jr. High and High School that are interested in a career in veterinary sciences. Upon completion, students may qualify as a Certified Veterinary Assistant and continue on into a Veterinary Tech program. Students will have the advantage of previous experience and applied knowledge they will receive prior to entering college.

The curriculum we use, was developed by 4-H and Texas A&M to prepare students for veterinary school. During this program, they will accumulate around 1500 hours of volunteer service, which will prepare them for the continuation of their education and experience in becoming a vet. Find out more about this program at the Texas 4-H website.
