Horse quiz bowl, horse judging, and horse shows are just a few ways that youth can become involved in the project. Several horse shows are offered around the area during the spring months. The District Horse show is held every year in June with the State Horse show following in July.
Horses must be validated by April 15 of every year on 4-H Online. Photos and registration papers are uploaded to 4H Online and certified by the County Extension Agent.
