Hear From Our Volunteers

Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service is committed to help Texans better their lives. Through the application of science-based knowledge, we create high-quality, relevant education and resources that encourage lasting and effective change.

One of our high-priority issues is helping Texans improve their health. Research shows at least 50% of health status is due to lifestyle factors such as not using tobacco, being physically active, maintaining a normal weight, and proper nutrition, among many others. Master Wellness Volunteers help Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service in its efforts to promote health and wellbeing.

Helping Texans Better Their Lives

Master Wellness Volunteers leverage Texas A&M AgriLife Extension Service’s outreach and education related to health, nutrition, food safety, and family wellbeing in the communities where they live and work.

In 2023, Master Wellness Volunteers provided 4,096 hours of service reaching 22,048 Texans.
