• Calhoun County AgriLife Extension Boater Education Course

    Calhoun County AgriLife Extension will be hosting a Boater Education Course on Saturday, February 26, 2022 at the Calhoun AgriLife Extension Office in Port Lavaca. Anyone born on or after September 1, 1993 who wishes to operate certain vessels on the public waterways of Texas must complete a Boater Education Course. See Water Safety Act for details.     The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has launched the “Companies Crushing Pollution” Video Challenge. EPA will award a total of $50,000 in prize money through the video challenge.
