Looking for an opportunity to learn more about the 4-H Food Challenge Contest? A hands on workshop is being held on Saturday, January 28, 2023 at the Walker County Storm Shelter in Huntsville. The workshop is geared towards coaches’ parents, agents and those who serve as judges.

Save the Date!! Texas 4-H will be having their night at NASA again this year! On March 4-5, 2023, any actively enrolled 4-H member will be able to participate in hands-on STEM activities, presentations from astronauts, a guided tour of rocket city, and get to have an overnight camping experience at the space center. Registration will be open on 4HOnline January 1-31, 2023, and will be $90/ person (youth or adult).

The Texas 4-H Youth Development Program will once again host 4-H Day at the Capitol on Wednesday, March 29, 2023. This event is designed as a citizenship experience for 4-H members of all ages to learn more about the state legislative process, as ell as meet their state representative and senator through an office visit. Registration is open on 4-H Online for the 2023 Texas State 4-H Indoor Archery Match.  Deadline to register is March 1, 2023. There are 5 venues across the state where 4-H’ers may choose to shoot, however they may only shoot at ONE. The 2023 Refashion Retreat is upon us! The retreat will begin on Friday, March 3rd at 6 PM and end with a fashion show on Sunday morning, March 5th. Youth registration is $155 and every youth needs to have an adult chaperone registered. Bring your sewing machine and sewing tools and be ready to let your creative juices flow.
