4-H Dog Project Kickoff

We’re excited to invite your youth to the 4-H Dog Project Kickoff! Whether your child loves dogs, wants to learn training skills, or is interested in competitions and community activities, this is the perfect place to get started.

Kickoff Details:

Date: January 5, 2026

Time: 6:00 PM

Location: Fort Bend County Extension Office

Note: No dogs at the first meeting

What to Expect:

  • Meet our project leaders
  • Learn about dog activities and competitions
  • Sign up for the project
  • Q&A session for parents
  • Fun introductions & dog facts

  • Showmanship & Handling
  • Rally Basics
  • Responsible Dog Ownership
  • Safety & Canine Behavior
  • Community Outreach

 

This is a great opportunity for youth to develop skills, build confidence, and make new friends while working with dogs.
